Quick Fixes
Here are two quick fixes that should have been implemented a long time ago.
- When using frames, single and double quotes will now work properly
- The search text input on your homepage will now gain focus much faster
The search text input no longer gains focus after the window loads. Instead, it gains focus when the text input loads, so we expect our users to see a significant increase in speed.

GloChat
GloChat is now live! Add any friends you have on GloTouch, and you will be able to chat with them. Very shortly, we will be implementing a feature that allows users to chat while browsing any webpage! You’ll even be able to share what page your visiting if you wish.

New Link Icons
Your links will now automatically take the favicon from a site, and display it in your drop down menu. This helps you navigate the links a little easier. We will be implementing an option to turn this off as well.
We are planning on adding some more tweaks to the homepage over the next 2 weeks. We would really like to remove some of the settings pages, and make more things changeable straight from the homepage.
In addition to these changes, we are thinking how to best implement a social part of GloTouch. A few ideas are being thrown around right now such as GloTouch chat available from any site while browsing the web. Check out a mock up preview below.

New Changes – Homepage and Updates
We are finishing up making some changes to the homepage. When logged out, guests will finally be able to view features, a comparison, and a demo before signing up.
Soon, we’ll be adding some updated graphics to our updates. We are also still working to bring more updates to GloTouch such as MySpace, YouTube, and package tracking. The reason these are not added yet is due to limitations on their site’s end. However, we are closely looking for any changes or other possibilities to bring these updates to you.
